Our parents dreamed of having a rest house that could also be a business, so they decided to build a resort. While our father, an OFW, supported it financially, my mother and I oversaw the entire process from start to finish. The resort’s design was a mix of my mother’s and brother’s ideas, aiming to create a cozy, relaxing space with a natural touch. They focused on open spaces, wood elements, and greenery to bring comfort and calmness. It became more than just a business it’s a family built haven where guests can rest, feel at home, and connect with nature.
